HUMBLE, SUBMISSIVE, OBEDIENT!

Stars don't question their power. They don't argue, resist and fight.

They are humble, submissive and obedient to their purpose...

and shine bright!

If you are human, and I know most of you are, there’s a huge chance that you had a negative reaction to the words in the subject line… humble, submissive and obedient.

When I suggest these character traits to my clients, I am often met with highly emotional reactions; indignation, anger and sometimes even despair. That’s because these words are often associated with a time when someone humiliated them, forced something upon them or made them feel subservient.

However, that’s not what these words mean or offer when demonstrated…

Let’s take a closer look at them and the power therein.

Humble – To lower in rank or importance.
Submissive - Ready to conform to the authority or will of others
Obedient - Willing to comply with orders or requests;

To demonstrate these three traits requires a great deal of self-honor, self-esteem and self-control.

It’s true, not everyone is deserving of this from you.

So, these are my qualifiers…

the right time
the right person or course of action
the right reason

I am fortunate to have had many mentors in my lifetime. I recognize the honor and privilege to be in front of them and receive their gifts. I welcome any advice, orders, and instruction. I choose these people wisely. They are worthy!

And here’s a life changing secret…

If you don’t choose to be humble, submissive and obedient when you need to…

the world will choose for you.

You will ALWAYS be under someone’s thumb or you will certainly feel that way, even if you’re not.

To resist this can be detrimental to your progress; a waste of your time, money and energy.

Trust me, I’m a rebel for real!

But I know when to put that attitude aside and show up for my life. That is how I came from a 25-year-old drunken wreck of a girl to the strong, powerful leader and healer I am today.

It is wise to be humble, submissive and obedient to the right person, at the right time, for the right reason.
